Joshua Ephraim Menke was born June 2, 1976. He is the first child of Dr Dave Menke (1951-) and JoAnn Bornstein (1951-).Josh grew up as a very energetic and curious boy, but after the age of 12, he withdrew more into himself. Even so, he excelled in academics and went on to earn a PhD in Computer Science after having completed a 2 year religious mission for the Mormon Church.
Joshua married Maren Jensen (1972-) in 1999 and had three children: Aria Menke (2001-), Andie (2004-), and Arwen (2008-).
